Dollar Power: Donating Payments

Where do I change my credit card information?

You can change your credit card information by going to your Stripe account and changing any data you wish.

Where are my payment receipts?

As soon as you make your donation, a receipt will be sent to the email you have on file. Also, you can also check your Stripe account on all your lyfer members contributing to you.

Can I stop a payment to a lyfer member?

Of course. All you need to do is go to their page and click the donation button to “undonate”.

Why are payments declining?

Whether you are the sender or receiver, a problem with payment can occur on either side. Please check your Stripe account for any inconsistencies and/or call your bank for additional assistance. If you continue to have a problem, please contact Stripe at this link: https://support.stripe.com/email/login

Remember, it will take 72 hours for donations to be processed and sent to the receiving lyfer member.

You’ll receive an email that will indicate whether your payment was successfully processed or declined.

How can I change the dollar amount to a lyfer profile?

Sure. It’s your decision. All you do is set the limit in the field and the new value will be the recurring payment to the receiver. Keep in mind, your new value will be charged to your account the moment you change it. After that, the new donation will be rescheduled on the day of the change. Please be sure on your value change of the donation. Your receiver may like it but it may be little more generous than you intended.

Oh no! I put the wrong amount! Can I get a refund?!

Hey, it happens. Please contact Stripe at this link https://support.stripe.com/topics/charges-and-refunds. Stripe will work diligently to refund you as soon as possible.

Where do I find the lyfers I’m donating to?

It will be easy to find them. All you have to do is enter their name in the search field and see their profile page.

Dollar Power: Receiving Payments

Where is my payment?

For Stripe security purposes, your first payment will be received within 7 days from the day the sender makes a payment. Subsequently, each monthly payment will be received on the day the initial payment was first made. Keep in mind, after the first donation, each donation after that will take 72 hours to process.

If you still haven’t received payment within the 3 day time period, please visit Stripe at the following link: https://support.stripe.com/topics/transfers-and-deposits

REMINDER: For lyfers outside of the U.S., depending on your location, some payments may take longer to process. Please be patient.

Why have my donations ceased?

There could be many reasons. A lyfer may have changed his information on his Stripe account or there may be a raised security flag with Stripe.com. If there are any questionable activities, you will receive an email detailing the reason and the time your account will be released.
